Hi there,
I am looking for any good information on sound schemes to use for my pc. I currently have the windows xp sounds and the Andre Louis sound scheme. If anyone else knows about any other sound schemes, please post it here? I appreciate the help.
what is a skeme
A skeem is a set of sounds that windows can play when something happens. For example the sound you hear when shutting down etc.
When you buy your computer there are only two skems. Windows deffolt which is the standart windows sounds and one called no sounds which doesn't play anything. Users can modify or create their own skeems.
You can modify each one differently. For example one can play messenger sounds as well as the usual windows sounds but another one can only play the usual sounds like windows start and shut down but not msn etc.
You can find them in the control pannel in the sounds and audio devices.
I have a sound skeme that was developed by Andre louis a couple years ago.
It has sounds for window's, aim, and msn messinger.

not necessarily. there are websites that have sound schemes if you google it. depends on what you're looking for. be careful though I've seen a couple of the schemes have what you'd think was a self extracting exe, but turned out to be a virus.
